│ In the rush of getting this killer game out last night, we missed out │
│ on 2 protections. First there was a MSCDEX protection that prevented │
│ the game from running in Windows '95 (you had to load up MSCDEX in DOS) │
│ Secondly, there was a CRC calculating checksum protection that │
│ prevented you from accelerating once in the pit. Both protections were │
│ successfully removed by Bunter after some help by our homies in DYNASTY │
│ who successfully released the german version of the game a few days │
│ earlier. You probably dont even care what I write anymore since you're │
│ all gonna download this patch anyways ;) │
│ │
│ Oh btw: there was a total of 6 CD checks plus the CRC check.. scary eh? │

│ Unzip GP2FIX.ZIP into the directory where you installed GP2 and over- │
│ write the old file. Also be sure to create a directory called \GPSAVES │
│ as a subdirectory to the game where you installed the game. eg: │
│ \GP2\GPSAVES - this will allow you to save your games in a more │
│ convinient way. Finally start the game by typing GP2.EXE ... │
│ │
